Installing Backtrack in VMware
Prerequisites :
Step 5: Now Choose first option.
step 6 :
Type “Startx” to start backtrack 5
Prerequisites :
1 : VMware workstation
2 : Bakctrack ISO
Download backtrack 5
* Installation Steps *
Step 1: start VM ware ;
step 2 : Choose Your Downloaded Backtrack 5.iso file
step 3: Click Next,then Select Your Guest Operating System and version
(For Backtrack 5 choose OS:-Linux and Version:-ubuntu)
Step 4: Check "power on this virtual machine after creation",then click finish.
Step 5: Now Choose first option.
Type “Startx” to start backtrack 5
Step 7 : Now Select That Icon
this will start installer
Step 7:Choose Your language
Then click forward and follow instruction.
