Follow the screenshots
Press Ctrl+R button and write diskmgmt.msc and press OK button.
Right click on your drive and click on Shrink button.
Enter the amount of space in MB (MegaByte)
After this step your drive is shrinked see below image 40GB partition is shrinked into 20GB.
Now Create a New Drive from Unallocated Space
Right click on the unallocated space and click in the New Simple Volume
Click Next Button
Enter the size of the partition and Press Nexr Button
Assign a Drive Letter and press NEXT Button
Select the format option Also select File system : NTFS or FAT32 and Press Next Button
Click the Finish Button
Your new drive partition is formatting now ,it will takes few minutes to complete .
Here your New Partition is created
